Brisbane based company JMR Productions run by Jacob Richter. Jacob launched himself headfirst in the entertainment industry in year 10 completing a school based traineeship in Live Production, Theatre and Events. From this Jacob made valued industry contacts and started working as a casual audio tech for production companies around Brisbane while still completing high school. Once finished high school Jacob started "JMR Productions" to trade under for freelance work. In 2013 Jacob studied Ian Taylor's Diploma of Sound Production course at Southbank Institute of Technology where he made more industry contacts and work colleagues all while still working as a casual in the industry. 2013 also was the year that Jacob ventured outside of Brisbane as a sound engineer on Harrison Craig's (The Voice 2013 Winner) More Than a Dream Australian Tour as the FOH operator.

Currently Jacob Richter is freelancing in Brisbane for multiple production companies and venues and also has some more tours lined up for later in the year. JMR Productions although specilaises in Live Audio also does Demo Recording, Lighting Design & Operation as well as Film Production.
